Sephora It Palette

A must have in every girl's make up bag is a Nude Eye Shadow Palette that is her 'to-go' palette. You'll never know when you might need to turn your Daytime eye shadow that you have on to a smokey eye shadow for a Night out . Are we on the same page here? :P Yes , I bet we are! Here's where I would like to share we you my current 'to-go' palette that is always in my handbag.

I got this as a birthday present from two of my girl friends , Shivani  & Shasha. * Thank You girls * . And, since then I've been using it to work and on days that I just wanna go all natural and light. This palette is the Sephora It Palette in Nude. Shall we open it and see what it looks like?

Tada!! As you can see in the pictures, the Sephora It Palette comes in a super cute, chic and compact packaging, covered with a python-patterened cover. This makes the whole palette very neat ! The Sephora It Palette comes with 12 neutral to dark eye shadows (2 highlighters ,1 base & 6 eyeshadows ) , an eye pencil, a dual-sided brush and a mirror. 

From chic shades of warm shadows like golden and cocoa, to a variety of taupe hues like frosty pink and dark mocha, this palette will get you through your daytime make up right to night time elegant and sexy smokey eyes!

Now , on to my personal take on the Sephora It Palette: 

What do I like about the Sephora It Palette?

The packaging is my favourite part of the product. I think that the overall look is very neat! It somewhat reminds me of a classy purse, which makes it even more prettier to carry around. The color stays on for a good amount of time (especially if you use an eye primer underneath). The palette also includes a variety of shadows, such as matte and shimmery ones, so it's easier to play around with the colors. The texture is pretty smooth upon application and, this palette being a nude / neutral shade palette suits all skin tones so another plus point there.

What I wish I could change about it?

A couple of the eye shadow shades are pretty light and it does not stay or pick up much colour if I use a shadow brush. It does not make much difference  unless I use it at the corners of my eyes (which I think is not such a bad thing because it is a win-win situation). Or prolly that's cause I used a shadow brush ( I used my fingers for the swatches below). Also, certain colors are not as pigmented as the rest. But that's about it cause I still think it does a pretty good job! *Check out my make up below !*

This is how it looks under the natural sunlight. Some colors are pretty dark while the rest are not as pigmented.
