As you can see, the Rouge Edition Velvet comes in a simple and clean packaging. The applicator is a brush wand.I feel that it picks up too much product at one time when it comes with this kind of wand and I don't like wasting too much product but on the bright side, it easy to apply on the lips and easy to blend too
*Tip: To blend it out even more to just give your lips a touch of color, you can use a brush to blend the color evenly
The texture of the Rouge Edition Velvet is very creamy and velvety. Upon application on your lips, you'll see that it is glossy but it dries out into a matte finish. I really like it that way because although it is matte, the feeling when applying it on my lips does not make my *sometimes* chapped lips looking even more chapped. & I like that it does not leave my lips feeling dry unlike some matte lipsticks. It is very light weight in a sense that you will not feel like your lips are heavy with lipstick and this Rouge Edition Velvet is not transferable , meaning that it wont stain your glass .You'll forget you have lipstick on! What I wish I could change is the fact that the darker colors may stain your lips a little. Of course you'll be able to remove it with make up remover but to change from a dark color to a lighter share would not be a good idea. Also, the scent of the product was more of a chemical scent but it's acceptable because the smell does not linger on very long.

I would say that my favourite Rouge Edition Velvet is number 06-Pink Pong that I have on in the picture below. This fuchsia on me looks absolutely stunning. It definitely brightens my face and suitable for a day out with your girl friends or even a date night!
Thanks to Bourjois, I also took home three awesome shades in 05 , 07 & 08 to play with. I'll be testing these new babies soon so keep a look out!
